Closer to home we find amethyst in Thunder Bay, Ontario as well as in Arizona, USA. See this link to amethyst in Wikipedia. We have ‘AAA’ quality amethyst at $12.95 for a 16″ strand. One strand will give you approximately 26 beautifully polished beads.  These beads are not regular but are nuggets. You should not that more variation gives you more distinct interest.
